Here is a little on their biology...

Tolteshloss means "deadlock" in bastardized german XD I have named them thus because they each carry a surface peircing of a padlock somewhere on their bodies.

Midnightpheonix is the key so Toltes are the lock XD

Fyffelynn is a arrogant, pretty boy, with aggresion problems. He is an adolecent and often snaps without thinking. He is very curious and is often found putting his nose in where its not wanted, he can be playful and charming although his temper is short.

He has one brother as not many babies live to adulthood. He is at the stage where hormones get him into trouble so think teenager.

Fyffe's variation has evolved to live on land although like his bretherin he is often found at sea.

Tolteshloss dragons live on a world where land is limited and where it is is mostly dry, although there are some forests. The world has poles of cold and two seasons dry and wet.

Most of the planet is vast seas, toltes being amphibious can live happily in either environment although some have evolved to live exclusivley at sea.

The toltes life cycle is unusual, females laying eggs which are looked after by the males. When the babies hatch they are born with wings and glow from special glands found in their immature tails. They are tiny. Baby toltes will attach themselves to an adult flitting around them and stealing food. They have to be quick because adult toltes have no qualms about eating young toltes.

Female toltes are bigger and more aggressive than the males, able to repulse the attentions of even the strongest of suitors, so basically if she don't like you leave her alone.

Females are highly terratorial often holding territory for years. Males roam between territories seeking mates, and often forming bacholer groups.



Colours vary between each individual shades of black, green, purples and browns all colours can be irridescent. All colours have a black or white stripe and circle arrangement on the body.

When ready to breed males develop a brightly coloured red stripe running aft of the eye and down towards the muzzle. Blue land Toltes are the rarest of them all (hence why fyffe is such a pretty boy) mainly because they do not blend with the surrounding vegetations (they are like the albino's to the species) although they do quite well at sea.

Sometimes a male and female will pair for life, if each find benifit in the arrangement, although possible it is a very rare situation.

All tolte's have bluish white eyes with no pupil, a clear nictating membrane protects the eye when swimming. When eating the eye rolls completely back into the head to protect it.

Toltes are not spiritual being of average intelligence, although some are smarter than others.
